Resources on Grief
There is joy in life, and there is loss and grief. Helping clients work through grief is part of a doctor’s/therapist’s role, and I have shared many moments of sadness with clients who have lost loved ones or pets, or are experiencing grief related to loss of home or job or other loss in life.
We are fortunate to have a counselling student, Asher, on placement at the practice at the moment, and I asked her to put together a resource list for some of our clients on grief. You will see that it is geared toward the area the practice is in. But some of the resources have a more general application, and I thought they may be helpful to share. Thank you Asher!
