Education
Dr Cate’s MHE&W provides education on mental health and wellbeing for students, graduates, organisations and the community, and aims to provide clear and accessible information, through engaging, interactive and enjoyable sessions.
I wear a number of education hats, including being a Medical Education Consultant to various organisations including Australian Medical Placements Health Education and Training (AMPHEaT) andAOGP Serving Health Professionals. I also teach at Torrens University and Tabor College.
I run numerous accredited training courses (face-face and online) for General Practitioners on a range of mental health topics, and over the years I have had the opportunity to give talks on various mental health and wellbeing topics across Australia, in the United Kingdom, New Zealand, Singapore and Japan.
Education sessions can be tailored to your needs. And I am pleased to also be an Accredited Mental Health First Aid Instructor and an Accredited Be Well Plan trainer (SAHMRI), and to bring passion and depth to these incredible training programs.
Many topics have been covered over the years, including:
- Stress and anxiety
- Mindfulness
